Sayre took his 3rd trip to Disney earlier this month, this time to celebrate his first birthday. Our second full day there was his actual birthday and he woke up that morning clapping his hands & giggling. The pumped-in sweet smells and the piped-in background music had a big effect on him this time. He was so excited when we were in the park that he sat straight up in his stroller the whole time with his hands ready to either wave to people or raise the roof! He loved watching the parades and preferred to keep the characters at a distance. Everyone tells you that he won't remember his first birthday extravaganza but I know for sure that we will!
